Licensing & Food Safety
Licensed to receive. Committed to the standard.
Coastal Harvest Wholesale is being established as a licensed BC first receiver. This page describes the commitments we operate to — the specific licence and certification numbers will be published here as they are issued.
First receiver licence
We operate under British Columbia's commercial fish receiver requirements. Licence details will appear here once issued. We do not accept commercial landings without valid licensing in place.
Record-keeping
Every landing is documented — vessel, harvester, fishery area, species, weights, temperature, and lot. Records are retained per regulatory requirements and made available to auditors and the parties directly involved.
Cold-chain integrity
Receiving bays and storage are held within specified temperature ranges. Deviations are logged and addressed. Product outside spec is quarantined, not sold.
Food-safety program
Our handling practices are aligned with HACCP principles. Staff training, sanitation, and traceability are managed as an integrated program, not as optional overhead.
Transparency note
This site currently describes the operational commitments and standards Coastal Harvest Wholesale is building toward as it completes its BC Fish Receiver Licence application. Specific licence numbers, certifications, and third-party audit results will be posted here after issuance. We deliberately do not display placeholder or unverified credentials.
